Open Positions

Marine Installer One

About Wooldridge Boats:

Wooldridge Boats builds premium aluminum boats from the ground up – starting with raw metal fabrication and finishing with fully rigged, water-ready vessels. Our process blends precision welding, detailed rigging, and hands-on craftsmanship to produce boats trusted in some of the harshest environments.

About the Position:

The Marine Installer 1 is an entry-level, hands-on role at the core of our build process. This position bridges fabrication and final rigging, taking raw welded hulls and preparing them for paint, installation, and final assembly.

This is a training-focused role and a common starting point for many of our long-term team members. You’ll gain exposure to multiple areas of boat building and have opportunities to grow into electrical, rigging, welding, or fabrication roles.

What You’ll Do:

● Review and prep boats after fabrication and before paint/rigging
● Install fuel systems, flooring, traction materials, vinyl, and decals
● Assist with trailer adjustments and boat loading
● Perform details cleanup and finishing work to ensure build quality
● Support production flow across departments as needed

What We’re Looking For:

● Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
● Positive attitude and willingness to learn
● Ability to safely use basic power tools
● Team-oriented with solid communication skills
● Reliable and consistent work ethic
● Ability to meet physical job requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

● Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
● Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems efficiently
● Interest in marine, fabrication, or technical trades

Why Wooldridge:

● Clear growth paths into rigging, electrical, and fabrication
● Work on high-quality, purpose-built boats – not assembly-line products
● Tight-knit team environment with skill development opportunities

Benefits:
● Seven Paid Holidays
● Paid Vacation & Sick Leave
● 401(k) with 4% match
● Fully paid Health Insurance
● Industry Pro Deals

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4/10’s schedule)

Education:

● High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

● Lift up to 60 lbs
● Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
● Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
● Repetitive motion and full-day physical activity
