Ken & Betsy Eisses Tour The PNW In Their New Wooldridge 26' Pilothouse!
Ken and Betsy Eisses recently purchased a 26' Pilothouse model from us! They were so happy with the boat, they sent us a letter and included some pictures of their recent journey up north. We at Wooldridge Boats are excited that the Eisses family is so pleased with their new acquisition! Here is the letter and some of the pictures they sent to us. Thanks guys!
Hi Grant, Glen and Grandpa
The boat you built for us is absolutely awesome. We used it for a week in Hood Canal and the San Juans. We spent 2 nights at Pleasant Harbor at the head of Dabob Bay. We spent a night in Anacortes and a night at mooring buoy near Orcas Island. We then put the boat on the Alaska ferry in Bellingham to Haines and picked it up there 3 days later. From Haines we went to Berner's Bay, Funter Bay, Hoonah and Haines Harbor. The extended bunks were excellent, slept 3 large adults comfortably. The table was outstanding for dinners and card playing and we love the front adjustable seat too. The gull wing hatch and steps were a must for getting on and off, even my 82 year old mother in law used it at Saddlebag Island in the San Juans. We liked how light it was and the visibility was great for whale watching. People could be anywhere while running, the bunks, table or out back and it ran great. The motors and hull are a perfectly matched design and operate at all rpm and speeds as advertised. We could troll easily on one motor. Grandpa, you said if we don't have any fun in the boat bring it back, sorry, but we are keeping it! Attached are some trip photos. Thanks for building an awesome boat.
