We just got a good email from a customer in Alaska, when they went out shrimping a week ago on their 27' Super Sport Offshore Pilothouse with twin 115 Yamaha's.
"We spent four days out shrimping with friends and family in Prince William Sound. The weather heading out on Friday was 4-5ft. seas, but the boat handled like a dream.
Our next stop, we dropped shrimp pots in 500' of water and let 'em soak for a couple hours. A good pull fills a 5 gallon bucket with these tasty critters and some are as long as 8-9 inches.
We rafted up each evening with a couple other boats to cook dinner and swap stories. Weather was beautiful as seen in the pics.
More to come in another month when we chase black bears and halibut!"
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us Brian!
Thanks for checking out this week's Out & About.
