2012-07-04Alaska’s Bearclaw Lodge: Glen’s Best Trip Ever!
Grant’s been catching most of the fish lately, and since he was taking time out to have a baby, Glen decided to take a jaunt north to Alaska and enjoy his best fishing trip ever.
Glen said the fishing was incredible, Bearclaw Lodge on Lake Aleknagik was incredible and he had a great time with Rob and the guys. “I’ve never caught so many fish and such a variety of fish,” Wooldridge said.
The trip was especially great because Glen got to meet up with a bunch of friends at Bearclaw, including Steve, Todd, Phil and Whitey.
The anglers zeroed in on big kings (at Alaska Kingfishers Camp), loaded up on mint-bright sockeye, hooked arctic char, grayling, rainbow.
“It was a great trip, not just catching fish, but running into a few longtime friends with their Wooldridge boats (great to see you Craig Schwarz and Jim Farmer (Classic inboards). Sorry to miss the Fieser’s (AK XL Sportjet). I called and Staci said Jason was up on the Nushaqak chasing kings. I really enjoyed adventuring in Wooldridge Boats that provide access to the great fishing, scenery and companionship provided a lifetime of memories.”
