The Wooldridge ‘AK XL’ is a dream come true for the boaters looking for the ultimate in handling, load hauling and fuel efficiency in an outboard jet boat. Evolved from the ever-popular ‘AK II’, the ‘XL’ has a 76" bottom, 80" floor width, 98 ½" beam, and 29” sides, in available lengths of 17' 10", 20' 10" and 23' 10". In the 20-footer, it gives a 16 square feet larger footprint in the water, at rest then the 20' Alaskan II. In the 23-footer, there is even more room.
It has a broad square bow, extra-large two piece walk-thru windshield for optimum visibility and access, a standup gunnel, flat walk-around with traction tape, and of course the exclusive Wooldridge jet tunnel. It's a handsome boat, with large side vinyl standard.
Of Course the key to the Alaskan XL's incredible load hauling ability with the modest horsepower is the Wooldridge design. Wooldridge engineers strength, without unnecessary weight utilizing a tough and proven structure system that allows optimum fuel efficiency. And as with nearly all Wooldridge boats, it is available with our Large Two-Piece Windshield or as an Open configuration for either a Tiller or Console steer.
