Final day of open Season

Wooldridge Boat’s Vence Malernee, wife Pat and son Paul hunted Muleys in the deep Canyon country of the Almota unit near Pullman and brought home the venison, including this 3 x 4. Paul was all smiles after pulling his buck out of a deep canyon (with the help of Rick and Mickey Finch).


He bagged the buck on the last day of the season  with a long shot from his Remington Model 721 270 Winchester (handed down from his grandmother). Malernee handloads the .270 with Barnes 130 grain TTSX bullets. Pat got a 3 x 3 and senior member of the party, Vence, passed up a couple of legal bucks looking for a hatrack. (Finch Ranch photo)
