A Big Happy Birthday to Bob Wooldridge

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to Bob Wooldridge, the second generation of our four generation company.

Bob’s a young 85 years old and he had the good fortune to share many of the adventures of his dad, Glen Sr., who built that first Wooldridge Boat and blazed trails across many Western waters.He more than any other learned Wooldridge boat building from the ground up. He was hands on in the shop and on the water for many of his dad’s much heralded adventures.


Bob also had the good sense and determination to, along with his wife Ann, continue and maintain the Wooldridge boat building tradition several decades ago. He developed and refined concepts in inboard and outboard jet boats, created hull designs and still receives great accolades from those who have used and still use Wooldridge Boats in fishing, hunting, research, enforcement and rescue work.

Of course his son Glen Jr. is President of Wooldridge, grandson Grant and son-in-law Don Dunning are vital cogs in the operation.

While Bob is officially retired, he’s still involved, sharing opinions and insights, delivering boats for shipping around the world and giving each of us a glimpse into the Wooldridge mindset and commitment that has driven this four generation company to provide the best in boating since 1915.

And, Bob is a good guy, a nice man and our friend!
