There’s excitement in the air and lots of opportunities for Wooldridge Boats and Wooldridge Customers.

That’s the short story as we are in the midst of boat and sport shows, Grant is at the Anchorage Boat Show with Marita Sea and Ski (907) 337-2744, Glen just finished up the Washington Sportsman’s Show and the Seattle Boat Show is just wrapping up with our Bellingham Dealer, West Coast Marine. Our 29’ SS Pilothouse is the headliner and earning rave reviews across the board, and of course the other models are getting stronger boater interest as well.

We’re busy and folks eager to get a boat for spring need to get orders in pronto.

It was fun watching the crowd cuddle up (figuratively speaking) to Glenn Hall of Hawg Quest. You never realize how intense his following (he’s the TV personality and Host of the Fox Sport Northwest TV Show) until you see folks eager to talk to him. Of course we’re happy he’s such a happy owner of a “flamed out” Woodridge AK XL.

Now’s the time to go to the www.salmonuniversity.com website and sign up for the March saltwater fishing seminars hosted by fishing expert and humorist, Tom Nelson. He’s been teaching saltwater anglers, particularly salmon fishermen, for more than 30 years (officially he says 27 years or so, but he’s trying to sound young. It’s actually been much longer than that).

Nelson’s classes fill up quick and they’re worth every dime, plus you’ll get to meet with Wooldridge folks and check out some of our boats.

And, yes, stay tuned for news from Grant and Anchorage. And, remember the shop is open for tours 5 days a week and there are lots boats being built for an up-close and personal look-see.
