Back in 1978, Rick Turner who was 42 years old at the time was introduced to Wooldridge Boats when he purchased a brand new "Classic" inboard model! He used it to fish his beloved salmon and steelhead rivers for years but eventually acquired a few "other" brands of boats and carried on. Now at 75 years old, Rick has come back to us with the purpose of building him the ultimate river fishing set-up! Rick and his friends still like to get out and fish the Cowlitz and neighboring rivers in the area and he wanted us to provide him with a boat that would suit him and his fishing style! He loves to free drift so we built him a 17' Alaskan II with a tiller set-up. Rick has been fishing the Pacific Northwest rivers for so many years and knows his way around boats and fishing and we are absolutely thrilled that he came back to us to design his boat! Thank you Rick and we hope you catch lots of fish and make many memories in your new boat!
